KEY AREA UPDATES

Industry Advisors

Industry Advisors link engineering employers into the programme by:

  • supporting the development of communication channels to engineering employers
  • guiding the identification and sharing of case studies of good practice, including
    • work placements
    • internships and scholarships
    • linkages with academic staff.

During 2017, Engineering e2e has established MoUs with The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), The Institution of Public Works Engineers (IPWEA), The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET Wellington). The MoUs outline collaboration to achieve the goal of increasing engineering graduate numbers.

Information and feedback about Engineering e2e activities is shared by IFE, IPWEA, IET, IPENZ, ACENZ, Business NZ, EEA and through other networks, for example by sharing our newsletter.

If you would like to help promote our work, or you have feedback for us, contact ENGINEERINGE2E@TEC.GOVT.NZ.
